S/O to our boy Ahmed at Teddy Boy! This Nas video “The Don” was filmed partially in his store in the LES of Manhattan. Ahmed worked with Mighty Healthy in 2009 to help develop our cut and sew which consisted of jackets, denim and chambray button ups. Congrats Teddy Boy on all the success that has been happening for you guys!
T-world 7: The New York Issue, the amazing journal documenting the evolution of the graphic tee in New York City, will get a hearty welcome at Reed Space this week with a party featuring some of the greats. Complex along with a few others will be hosting the party this Thursday, May 3rd, featuring a retrospective gallery of graphic tees from greats like Alife, aNYthing, Mighty Healthy, and Staple, live silk-screening by BKNY x Brooklyn Tourist, along with book signings from OG NY streetwear heads and respected artists like Tony Arcabascio, Claw Money, Kid Zoom and Jeff Staple
